Communicating the Value
of the Liberal Arts

How to best communicate the value of the liberal arts? This was the question at the heart of the LSA rebrand. We answered this question by producing a positioning statement, clearly defined messages, and a strong U-M wordmark that ties LSA to the Michigan experience. The result was a roadmap that consistently emphasizes the value of the liberal arts to our prospective students, current students, and alumni/donors. Faculty across the college were also on board with this consistent messaging and used it to collectively enhance the power of LSA stories.
