Expanding the Donor Pipeline
To create a robust pipeline of engaged donors, we developed a program called “College Connections”, based on work that was occurring at Georgetown University. The program hired a small team of recent LSA graduates who interviewed thousands of alumni, amassing an oral history of Michigan experiences, past and present, and creating robust relationships between alumni and the College. Giving for the College Connections group is higher than for any other alumni segment. In addition, this program became a training ground for entry level gift officers and was also used to launch our LSA International Giving effort.
